Can I keep my current plan and promotion?
You can keep your current plan and promotion when moving to a new address. Offers do vary by area and if you can’t keep your current plan, you can shop for new offers.
How quickly can I move?You can schedule a move up to 30 days before your move date. If you qualify for self-installation, you can activate your services as soon as you move in. You can also schedule professional installation for as early as the next day if appointments are available. Then we’ll help activate your services at the time of your appointment.
What happens to my equipment?On most occasions you can keep your equipment when moving and our specialists are happy to help with installation. If your devices are not compatible with your services in your new location, we will install new equipment and take the old equipment back.
Do I have to pay to move my services?Move transfers are generally free of charge.
What if there’s time between when I move out and move in?You won’t be billed for any gaps in service. And we’ll keep you connected to WiFi hotspots and streaming TV.
What if I need to change my order or move in date?Give us a call at 1.866.347.4784 to make any changes.
What happens if Optimum doesn’t provide service at my new address?
If you’re moving to an area where Optimum doesn’t provide service, call 1.866.347.4784 and return your equipment before you move. We can help you do that, too.
