Affordable Internet doesn’t end with ACP
Unfortunately, the Federal Government stopped accepting new Affordable Connectivity Program applications in February 2024. Additionally, Congress has not approved additional funding for the ACP, so as a result, the program ended in May 2024.
Optimum customers enrolled in ACP received the full benefit on their April 2024 bill. To deplete the remaining funds, the FCC allowed providers, including Optimum, to offer a partial benefit for the month of May.
While the outcome of the ACP is beyond our control, Optimum is fully committed to providing you with affordable Internet options to keep you connected. Click the link below to find a plan that's right for you.

AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM: The Federal Government’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), operated by the Federal Communications Commission, reduces home Internet and mobile service charges for qualifying low-income households with a one-per-household benefit of up to $30/mo. or up to $75/mo. for residents of Tribal Lands. ACP transfer instructions and plans that may be free with the benefit can be found at Optimum.com/acp. Available to new Optimum Internet and Optimum Mobile customers. Bulk Internet and commercial accounts are excluded. The ACP benefit can be applied to any Optimum Internet or Optimum Mobile plan. Terms, conditions, and restrictions apply. Credit is applied to qualified and active customer accounts until the ACP expires, at which time customers will be responsible for full payment of the monthly bill at then current rates and subject to Optimum’s general terms and conditions. This benefit is portable to and from other participating providers but is not transferable to other individuals or households. Nonpayment of monthly bill may result in service suspension and/or downgrade. The Federal Government stopped accepting new Affordable Connectivity Program applications in February 2024.
As a result, in your May billing statement, you will receive a partial ACP credit of up to $14 (or up to $35 for Tribal Lands customers). Any remaining balance that is reflected on the bill statement will be your responsibility. After May, you will be subject to Optimum’s undiscounted rates and general terms and conditions. Starting with the date of your June bill, the ACP credit will be removed from your account and any remaining balance will be reflected on your bill statement.
