- To protect copyrighted content, TV Networks use digital encryption technology, which “scrambles” the TV signal. Only businesses that subscribe to encrypted channels can display the programming.
- In some markets, we are also updating our signals from analog to digital to ensure you receive the best quality signals.
What channels are impacted?
- All channels will be digitally encrypted.
How does this affect me?
- Without a cable box or HD DigitaLink connected to each TV in your business, you’ll no longer be able to enjoy these channels. You must call 844-208-8473 to schedule a free professional installation.
If you have an SD-DTA on your TV, you will also need to replace that device. It looks like the image below. You can also confirm if your device is an SD-DTA if there are no HDMI ports (only two silver RF ports like C and D in the image below)
