You have 21 days from when any phone or accessory was purchased or financed on optimum.com/mobile to initiate a return for a refund.
Along with a receipt, phones and accessories must be returned in their original packaging with all the original contents undamaged, in good working condition and without any material alterations to the phone’s hardware or software.
If items are returned after the return period; have been physically damaged, modified, or damaged by liquids; or are missing any parts, we will not process your return and you will not receive credit on your purchase price. If we do not elect to process your return, you will remain responsible for payment in full for the phone or accessory, including any installment payments (if financed through Optimum Mobile).
If you purchased your phone on optimum.com/mobile, you must contact an Optimum Mobile expert to set up a return. If you decide that you no longer want your phone before it's been delivered to you, you still need to contact an Optimum Mobile Expert or else your account will continue to be billed.
You must return any phone or accessory by trackable and insured mail or delivery service. Returns must be postmarked no later than 21 days from the date of purchase or financing. If we receive a return more than 10 days after the postmarked date, we will not process a refund, and you will be responsible for the full cost of the phone.
Refunds will be less any rebates, restocking and shipping fees. Fees you will/may be responsible for:
+ Restocking fee (applicable to all phone returns, whether items are opened or unopened): $50
+ Missing accessories fee: $75
Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
Important: returning an activated phone does not automatically terminate service. You must call an Optimum Mobile expert to cancel your service.
