Yes, you should reset your device before you ship it to us. You also need to remove any activation locks (“Find My” on iOS or “Find My Device” on Android) and any SIM cards.
To prepare your device for Trade-in, we also recommend backing up your data and unpairing your device from any online accounts or other connected devices.
