WestPac Highlights

Lowell Observatory Camps for Kids Program - Flagstaff, AZ June 14 - July 16

Suddenlink and the West Pac Team were excited to be the Curriculum Sponsor for the LOCKS (Lowell Observatory Camps for Kids) program this summer. Every year, LOCKS camps provide high-quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning opportunities to approximately 200 children between the ages of 3 and 15. At the end of the camp, Lowell has a graduation ceremony for campers.


La Raza on the Plaza - Lubbock, TX - July 2

Suddenlink was a sponsor of LaRaza on the Plaza in Lubbock, Texas on July 2. In partnership with Ramar Communications, this festival kicked off the July 4th holiday weekend and featured the heritage of Tejano music that runs deep in Lubbock. There were over 1,000 concert and festival attendees!

Suddenlink iPad Donation and Check Presentation for the Bullhead Boys and Girls Club - Bullhead City, AZ - August 20

Suddenlink donated iPads to the Boys and Girls Club in Bullhead City, AZ to increase student access to virtual learning opportunities, connectivity, online curriculum and programs as well as ensure students have access to the technology they need to be successful for the upcoming school year. Suddenlink also donated $2,500 for STEM supplies for their new location.

Suddenlink donated $7,500 worth of iPads to the Boys and Girls Club in Auburn, CA. This donation will increase student access to virtual learning opportunities, connectivity, online curriculum and programs as well as ensure students will have access to the technology they need to be successful for the upcoming school year.

Suddenlink Sponsored the 14th Annual Jerry Garcia Bash, Flagstaff, AZ, July 31

In partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Arizona, Suddenlink sponsored the 14th Annual Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash at the Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff. This year’s event also supported the Flagstaff Family Food Center and the Haven Walker Memorial Music Scholarship. Not only is Suddenlink supporting affordable homeownership, but also the fight against food insecurity in addition to providing music education in the community.

Texoma Highlights

iPad and school supplies donations - Purcell OK, Montgomery TX - Aug 2021

As part of Suddenlink’s corporate pledge of 1 million dollars to support schools and student organizations in response to challenges imposed by COVID-19, the company was able to donate 30 iPads and over 1,000 composition books to Purcell and Montgomery Elementary School. The students loved their new iPads. Check out what Principal Stone and the social media specialist from Montgomery Elementary had to say about the iPad and school supplies donation. Rec-a-Palooza - College Station, TX - Aug 26

Students, students, and more students were found at the annual Texas A&M Rec-A-Palooza event. The event featured just under 6,000 freshmen and sophomore university students who were introduced to the A&M Rec Center for the first time. Suddenlink partnered with Revolt network to provide students with cool swag.

City of Bryan Drive-in Movie - Bryan, TX - July 9

Suddenlink shined at the annual Bryan Parks and Recreation Drive-in Movie event in BRAC Park. Suddenlink hosted roaming trivia and an intense dance-off before the movie began. There were prizes to be had for all who participated. There were even a couple of adults out to bust a move.

Over the summer, Suddenlink had the opportunity to highlight 10 high school football programs across Texas. We featured local high schools on a cover wrap of Dave Campbell Texas football magazine, “The Bible of Texas Football.” The covers feature a photo of the local team, schedule, and information about their program. Suddenlink was on hand to encourage student-athletes for the upcoming season. The schools we highlighted were Conroe, Tyler Chapel Hill, Georgetown East View, Prosper, Bryan, Amarillo Tascosa, Lubbock Coronado, San Angelo Central, Midland Legacy, and Abilene Cooper.

Heartland Cruise Car Show - Weatherford Oklahoma - June 19

Motor enthusiasts had a great time at the annual Weatherford, OK Heartland Cruise car show on Route 66. Classics abounded with modern marvels tucked in between. There was a lot to do, from burnout contests to music by the Hi Fi Hillbillies. Suddenlink was on hand to pass out giveaways and enjoy the day with customers from all over western Oklahoma.

Suddenlink Donates $5,000 worth of iPads to Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana’s New Iberia Club - New Iberia, Louisiana - July 2021

Suddenlink donated $5,000 worth of iPads to the Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana’s New Iberia Club to increase access to virtual classroom opportunities, connectivity, and online curriculum. Many club members do not have access or adequate devices at home which can negatively impact their academic success. These iPads will impact the club members by removing those barriers and enhance programs offered at the club. This donation is part of Altice USA’s (parent company of Suddenlink), $1 Million gift to 30+ school districts as part of its COVID-19 response initiatives to support local communities as they recover from the impact of the pandemic.

Suddenlink Provides Notebooks to Three Local School Districts - Bossier Parish, Rapides Parish, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - August, 2021

Suddenlink donated 1,000 composition notebooks to Bossier Parish School Board, Rapides Parish School Board & Calcasieu Parish School Board to positively impact the students in these school districts. It is important for students to have the tools and resources they need to be successful.

Mid Atlantic - North Carolina Highlights

Suddenlink partners with Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County for Stuff the Bus Supply Drive - Greenville, North Carolina August 2021

Suddenlink and Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County partnered to host a Stuff the Bus school supply drive in Greenville, NC. The drive was held to collect supplies for the students of Pitt County Schools to ensure students have the supplies and tools needed for the upcoming school year. Over 4,000 items were collected including binders, book bags, pencils and notebooks.

Craven County Schools receives $12,500 worth of iPads to increase access to technology – New Bern, North Carolina - August 2021

Suddenlink donated over $12,000 worth of iPads to Craven County Schools to increase student access to virtual learning opportunities, connectivity, online curriculum and programs as well as ensure students will have access to the technology they need to be successful for the upcoming school year. Altice USA, parent company of Suddenlink, has contributed a total of $1 million impacting 30+ school districts as part of its COVID-19 response initiatives to support local communities impacted by the pandemic.

Suddenlink Partners with The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club for Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive - Charleston, WV - July 2021

Suddenlink and The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club Charleston partnered to host a Stuff the Bus school supply drive for local students. The drive collected school supplies to ensure students have the supplies and tools needed for the upcoming school year. Community members donated nearly 1,000 items including backpacks, binders, notebooks and pencils.

Suddenlink Partners with Southern Communications for First-Ever Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive - Beckley, WV - August 2021

Suddenlink partnered with Southern Communications to host the first-ever Stuff the Bus school supply drive for students across Raleigh County. The drive collected school supplies to ensure students have the supplies and tools needed for the upcoming school year. Community members donated hundreds of items including backpacks, binders, notebooks and pencils.

Students Receive New Backpacks, School Supplies through Backpack Giveaway - Parkersburg, WV - August 2021

For the fourth year running, Suddenlink supported City Soul Ministries backpack giveaway. Families lined up to receive a new backpack filled with school supplies for their children. Three hundred backpacks were distributed to Parkersburg students.
