Through an investment of over $1M, our dedicated teams have been making significant enhancements to our network in the Hamptons, Brick Township and Seaside Heights, New Jersey so that our local customers and communities stay connected whether they are working remotely, streaming entertainment, or just relaxing beachside.  

We know it can be frustrating when internet service slows down, especially during busy times. That's why we closely monitor how much data is flowing through the "local pipe" or the part of our network that carries internet traffic to and from a neighborhood. By keeping an eye on this, we can spot and fix congestion before it affects a customer.  

Across these coastal areas on Long Island and New Jersey, we’ve introduced advanced technology that lets us organize and move data more efficiently, expanding the pipe’s capacity. This means fewer slowdowns during peak hours and a smoother, faster online experience for area residents and businesses.  

Our commitment to proactive service doesn’t stop there. We’re actively assessing and optimizing network health in select zones. Optimum team members are pinging routers and conducting node analysis, promptly replacing any faulty equipment to guarantee seamless connectivity.
