You can use the cable clips  to secure the cable line to the wall or carpet moulding, if needed. |
- The cable line should be split as close as possible to where the cable line first enters your residence.
- Once cable line connections are tightened (do not overtighten), plug in the modem.
- Check to see if the appropriate lights on your modem are lit (see chart at right). If your modem is not listed at right, please refer to the manufacturer's documentation for information on your modem.
