Call Return (*69) identifies the last incoming caller to your line. Call Return (*69) will also automatically redial the last incoming telephone number for calls received from other Optimum Voice lines and from certain calls within your calling area.
To Use Call Return:
Pick up your handset. When you hear a dial tone, dial *69. The last caller's number will be announced, provided their Caller ID information is available.
You will be prompted to press 1 to call the last caller back. You can only initiate a call back for calls within your area code.
Important notes:
*69 cannot announce or return calls marked as private by the caller.
*69 cannot return calls placed from cellular phones.
*69 cannot return calls placed from a PBX and certain private telephone systems.
*69 may not be able to return calls received from outside of your calling area or from certain non Optimum Voice service providers.
